Georgia Apartment Shooting: Was it due to Negligent Security?

A 43-year old was found shot to death recently at an apartment complex in Lilburn, Georgia. The man was found dead in the parking lot in front of a building in which police believe he lived. Several calls were placed to police from several people that reported hearing six shots being fired in that area.

So is the apartment complex liable for this tenant's death?
