Wendell sat at a red light, waiting for the signal to change when a large van rammed into the back of his jeep. His vehicle sustained severe damage to the bumper, tag, and spare tire. The force of the impact on the frame caused one of the back doors to become misaligned. The at-fault driver was cited for following too closely and drunk driving.
The next morning, Wendell woke up with intense neck and back pain. Fortunately, he had called our office the day of the wreck and we got to work on his case immediately.
Turning to a Trustworthy Atlanta Car Accident Lawyer
This wasn’t the first time Wendell had endured a crash. He had experienced two other minor wrecks over the course of his life. But this car accident was different. He was in pain and needed medical treatment.
“It was a very interesting experience because I’ve never gone through it before,” he explained.
Communication was important to Wendell. Like many clients, he wanted to understand the details of his case and how to handle the bills he received in the mail. “Every single time I had a question, it was answered,” he said. “It was an experience where I was able to truly trust and believe that they were handling every single detail of my case and I didn’t have to worry about it.”
In pop culture, attorneys can appear stuffy or arrogant. These stereotypes can bleed over into radio and tv ads. Wendell was understandably worried then, about meeting Attorney Gary Martin Hays. Instead, he was pleasantly surprised.
“Gary Martin Hays is down-to-earth and an extremely trustworthy person. And I know that for a fact. Individually, he is a very quirky and fun type of person. He’s easy to get along with and you don’t find that very often, especially with people like attorneys,” Wendell said.
He described the team who worked on his personal injury claim in a similar vein. “You can sit back — maybe not relax — but just sit back, let them do the work, and when he time comes for you to get your money, when the time comes for your case to be closed, just know that everything has been handled,” he continued.
Part of what helped Wendell’s case and settlement was that he had med pay coverage and underinsured motorist coverage. Check out why these insurance coverages are so important to have so that you can protect yourself and your family.
