Law Enforcement Cracks Down On Georgia School Bus Laws

Local counties are cracking down on drivers who pass school buses illegally. Several of these incidents have caused serious car accident injuries.

For the safety of our kids, let me give you a quick refresher on what to do when you approach a school bus.

If you are on a divided highway that is split by grass or a concrete median - only the traffic behind the bus must stop.

If the highway is divided by only a painted median - all traffic must stop in both directions.

School systems are attaching cameras on buses to catch offenders, so please - obey the law and help keep our kids safe.
